Kate McKinnon To Appear In Robbie’s New Project Barbie
Kate McKinnon confirms to appear in Margot Robbie’s next film, Barbie. The 38-year-old actress will be seen with Ryan Gosling in the Warner Bros pictures.
After Simu Liu from Shang-Chi confirmed for the Barbie film, which is produced exclusively by Warner Bros., this new addition certainly points to the project’s momentum. In addition to the film, McKinnon expanded the world of the Barbie film, plot details of which are still near production and we do not know in which direction the film progresses.
But till now nobody from the team confirmed which character McKinnon carries on in the film. Just like some other cast members, her role kept in mystery, and we have to wait a little more to get the inside details of her character.
Kate McKinnon, popularly known for her characters in The Spy Who Dumped me (2018) and Ghostbusters (2016) all set to make a comeback to another blockbuster film.

Alongside McKinnon, other star casts members also confirmed by the production. The Canadian hunk Ryan Gosling very earlier joined the cast, playing the character of Ken. He will be seen as Barbie’s boy toy.
Along with him Ugly Betty lead actress, America Ferrera also joined the cast along with Liu. And Tonya actress Margot Robbie will be seen in the titular character.

Greta Gerwig handled the screenplay and direction of the film. Gerwig has famously known for her films Lady Bird (2017), Little Women (2019), No Strings Attached (2011), to name a few, which won Oscars. She is already a celebrated actress known for her different characters. Plot details yet not known but the film follows the story of Mattel line dolls, which first appeared in 1959.
