Russell Joins The Marvel Cast
Kraven the hunter is a fictional character, who was there in the American Comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character had its debut in the 15th issue of The Amazing Spider-Man. He was born into Russian aristocracy as Sergie Kravinoff. There, he was an adversary to the Spider-Man. Further, he is also seen into conflict with other heroes such as Black Panther and Tigra.
Now, this comic character of the Marvel World is coming into big screen. Recently, Russell Crowe signs a contract with the Marvel for this picture and joining Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Production And Casting
J.C. Chandor is directing the movie through a screenplay by Richard Wenk and Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. The producers of this movie are Matt Tolmach and Avi Arad
Aaron had already signed a contract in May 2021 in a multi-picture deal including this film. It is still not clear who will play the lead role but since there are more than one leading role in this movie which includes Kraven’s family too. Russell might be playing the role of Kraven’s father.
Russell Crowe’s interesting work line-up
He is also directing a movie in which he is also starring name Poker Face. Kraven is not the first movie of Marvel in which he is playing a role. Further, he is also playing Zeus in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love And Thunder on the Disney side. He is also there in The Greatest Beer Run Ever by Apple and Skydance.
He came under limelight after playing a role in the movie Gladiator. For that role int that movie, he won many awards like Empire Awards, Academy Awards, London Film Critics Circle Award and few more.
