Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame is undoubtedly the biggest crossover movies of the 2010s. But with Endgame, more than a decade’s worth of storytelling ended, and we had to say goodbye to some iconic heroes. But we now have even better things to look forward to.The No Way Home trailer blew fans’ minds when it showed more elements of the Multiverse, and even introduced villains from the classic Spider-Man movies. Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus even showed up in the final scene. If all goes well, we can see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men as well.

Doctor Strange 2 is still some ways off, but Cumberbatch already seems to be creating hype for it. Read on.

Cumberbatch appeared on Variety’s Award Circuit Podcast, and didn’t waste the opportunity to poke some fun at his co-star Tom Holland. Holland had previously mentioned that No Way Home was the most ambitious standalone movie. Cumberbatch added, “Until Doctor Strange 2” comes out.

The theories surrounding Doctor Strange 2 seem endless, with some even calling it a horror film. We know Elizabeth Olsen will make her next appearance as Scarlet Witch, and more crazy Multiverse stuff can happen. The movie will be directed by Sam Raimi, popular for the Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire.
