Critical Role’s “The Legend of Vox Machina” reveals its voiceover cast
The Legend of Vox Machina typically derived from the show Critical Role has finally revealed its cast. The voice cast of this adventure series has some known names such as Stephanie Beatriz who is best known for her role in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, David Tennant from our favourite Doctor Who, Dominic Monaghan, Felicia Day, Tony Hale, Gina Torres, and one from our beloved Game of Thrones, Indira Varma. We can finally look forward to an awesome series!
How is it different from Critical Role?
The live-streamed show which consists of voice actors having a rather “nerdy disposition”, Critical Role has been a favourite among the viewers.
The popular show starring Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Matthew Mercer, Sam Reigel, Marisha Ray, and Tarvis Willingham depicts the role-play among the voice actors, who live an adventurous life within their kingdom. As the new guest cast has been recruited, they will also join the original show’s cast, and voice the roles they originally played.
The story of “The Legend of Vox Machina”
Originally considered as a 22-minute animation shadowing the characters of Vox Machina, “Legend of Vox Machina” became Critical role’s original RPG campaign. After analyzing the success of the campaign, the production decided to make proper episodes. Initially, a 10-episode season was aired, it was then extended to 24 episodes and two seasons after Amazon Prime came into the picture. The animated series is produced by Amazon Studios, and Titmouse for Prime Video in addition to Critical Role. The cast of Critical Role also acts as the executive producer for the show. The good news is that ‘The Legend of Vox Machina” will be streamed on Prime Video from January 28, Friday. We’ll get to see three episodes in a week, and the series is twelve episodes long!
The characters of the cast have been revealed!
The curiosity about knowing the guest cast’s characters is understandable, and the trailer has disclosed some information about it. The video has revealed most of the cast’s characters! General Krieg will be played by David Tennet, while Stephanie will be our Lady Kima. Other than these, Indira Varma would be Allura. Tony Hale will play Sir Fince, and Chancellor Uriel would be played by Khary Payton. The dwarf leader will be played by Dominic Monaghan, and Sunil Malhotra will be seen as Gilmore. All these characters have skyrocketed our expectations, and we hope the series will be worth it!
