The couple had been together since 2017
Park Shin Hye, best known for Stairway to Heaven and Memories of the Alhambra is getting married to her long-time partner Choi Tae Joon, known for the melodrama Exit. The couple started dating in late 2017, and went public with their relationship in March 2018.
Their wedding news was confirmed by their two agencies SALT Entertainment and Santa Claus Entertainment. SALT further added that Park Shin Hye is pregnant.

Park Shin Hye’s letter
Park Shin Hye began by talking about the weather, and wanted to know if everyone’s keeping well. She then reminisced about the time she joined her first agency 20 years ago. Her showbiz career began in the second year of middle school, and in the blink of an eye, 18 years had passed.
The actress expressed her gratitude to people who were around while growing up, as well as the fans who sent in their love and well wishes. It was their support that got her through tough times. She then proceeded to share her marriage news, saying that Choi Tae Joon had been her source of support as well. Then she announced her pregnancy, and said she will return to acting soon.
Choi Tae Joon’s letter
The actor also had similar news to share, saying he is writing with a trembling heart. He called his partner a saviour who taught him to smile brightly when he’s happy and cry loud when he’s sad. He shared the pregnancy news and said they are preparing for the next chapter in their lives.
The couple got married in a private ceremony on January 22, 2022 in Seoul. They welcomed their first child, a baby boy, together on May 31 2022. It’s certainly a perfect family moment now.
