Megan Thee Stallion Won’t be Performing with BTS at the American Music Awards 2021!

The group was about to perform “Butter”

Megan Thee Stallion announced in a tweet that she will not join BTS for a performance of “Butter” at the American Music Awards on Sunday. She cited the reason as “an unexpected personal matter.”

Megan Thee Stallion in her tweet, which came out on November 20, explained that she will not be able to make it to the awards show, which is scheduled for 21st November. The rapper was featured in a special remix of the global hit back in August, and this would’ve been their first joint performance. While this can be a major downer for fans, Megan did say that she can’t wait to perform it with them “real soon.” She soon got a reply from the AMAs on Twitter, who said that they will miss her.

This will be BTS’s first appearance at the music awards, and while their performance with Megan Thee Stallion won’t be happening, they will still get to perform with Coldplay in their recent collab single “My Universe.” The boy band is scheduled for two performances, so it is very likely that they will have a solo performance aside from performing with Coldplay.
