Lizzo looked unrecognizable at the party held on Friday
Lizzo becomes the latest celebrity to go all out for Halloween. And boy was her costume unpredictable!
The 33-year-old singer transformed into Grogu, aka, Baby Yoda from The Mandalorian and was barely recognizable in the numerous photos she shared on Instagram.
Lizzo’s night out
Her face, arms, and legs were painted green, and wore pointy ears resembling Baby Yoda. But Lizzo added her own touch by wearing a long blond wig to finish the look. She wore a floor-length tan cloak as well.
The singer then set out on the crowded Hollywood Boulevard still dressed up as Grogu, and took several pics with unassuming tourists and fans – who had no idea it was the Grammy Award-winning singer under the elaborate makeup. Lizzo showed she’s an entertainer no matter who she’s dressed up as, by stopping to dance with street performers. In a video she posted on Instagram, we see Grogu throwing her arms up randomly and also chasing people down the street.
Her only accessories were a pair of black sunglasses and a tiny green heart-shaped purse. Perhaps she didn’t disguise herself too well because an eagle-eyed fan was able to figure out her identity 15 minutes into the trip. Knowing that she will soon get busted by more fans, Lizzo shifted to her second destination – Spotify’s Ghost Town Halloween Party in West Hollywood.
Being a fangirl
At the party, she took to the stage to entertain all who had attended in full costume. Even Troye Sivan was present.
Back in August during an appearance to “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show,” Lizzo spoke about being a massive Baby Yoda fan. She also claimed for having the largest collection of Grogu merchandise, even one her size.
