Hulu’s ‘The Kardashians’ TV Review: Do We Need More From This Family?

The famous reality TV family has found a new home

America’s favorite reality TV family, the Kardashians are back.

Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and their mother Kris Jenner have now moved to Hulu with their new show, The Kardashians. Their famous show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians wrapped up after 20 long seasons, but viewers didn’t have to wait long for their return. But in truth, do we really need them anymore?

The Kardashians, But Bigger

The family is bigger, all right. Matriarch Kris, and her children have returned with more money, more businesses, and more kids. But does bigger always mean better? Let’s do some comparisons.

When you compare the new show with KUWTK, you might admit that it’s more polished and refined. In the two episodes that we have seen, we don’t see any sibling quarrels or other spoilt antics. But where the show fails yet again is trying to sell their lifestyle to their viewers. The sisters and mother dazzle in every scene with their high profile lifestyle, and constantly shows off their wealth. Whether you are a fan or a hater, you will have envied the family at some point. But they have taken it too far, since there is little to no fun, like in Keeping Up. We only see a family that knows very well that millions tune in to watch them.

In Conclusion

No beautiful opening credits or camera shots can take away just how boring things are. The family tries to make all the meetings and conversations interesting, but fail. Their attempts at creating drama out of thin air fails as well. Some of the life-long fans might find things to enjoy, but the general advice is, keep away from the family.
