Kai’s first solo album came with ‘KAI (开)’. It was a mini album, and featured the lead single ‘Mmmh’ along with five other B-side tracks.

The singer, whose real name is Kim Jong-in, debuted in the K-pop boy band EXO in 2014. EXO’s first album was ‘Mama,’ which released in both Korean and Chinese in the same year. Their last album came out in June, called ‘Don’t Fight The Feeling’ which featured a title song by the same name. The group members had gone out on their own paths in between, and Kai is the sixth member to release a solo project. The others who released before him were Chen, Lay, Baekhyun, and Suho. Following Kai’s debut in November 2020, D.O made his highly-anticipated solo debut in July 2021.
