BTS to Take Extended Break, Creates Individual Instagram Accounts Setting New Record!

All accounts have broken 17 million followers in less than a day

BTS is taking their first big break since 2019, and Big Hit Music announced on Monday that they will be taking an ‘official extended period of rest.’ But that is not reason to be disheartened, as they have all officially joined Instagram, and will be uploading regularly to keep fans entertained. In fact, theirs would be the first accounts to reach a maximum count of followers in such a short time.

Let’s now look at Big Hit’s announcement.

Big Hit Music revealed that BTS has been working tirelessly for the past few years, and that this will be their first big break since debuting. They will be spending this holiday season with their families before preparing for their next in-person concert in Seoul in March. They will also be working on a new album ‘that will mark the beginning of a new chapter.’ The agency continued that this will give them the chance to live free and ordinary lives, concentrate only on themselves, and get re-inspired and recharged with creative energy.

The BTS seven members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, V, and Jimin have all officially joined Instagram. While all accounts are being monitored by Big Hit, they are still uploading and commenting on each other’s posts. They have turned off the comments for everyone except the other team members, and are only following each other and Big Hit.

BTS were also able to record 17 million followers in less than a day, with V currently standing with the most number of followers. He had also followed BLACKPINK’s Jennie by mistake, but immediately unfollowed and clarified the mistake on their Weverse.
