2021 Asia Artist Awards New Lineup Revealed: Lee Jung Jae, Lee Seung Gi, Yoo Ah In, and Han So Hee to attend

We have yet another brilliant lineup this year

We have received the first lineup of artists who will grace the 2021 Asia Artist Awards.

The prestigious awards function is scheduled for December 2 at the KBS Arena Hall. It will be hosted by Super Junior’s Leeteuk and former IZ*ONE member Jang Won-Young. The function will be organized by Star News and Star Continent and honors actors and singers across Asia.

Held from October 18 to October 22, the guest list boasts stars like Lee Jung Jae, Lee Seung Gi, Yoo Ah In, aespa, and Han So Hee. Of course, Lee Jung Jae is now known around the world for his performance in Netflix’s global hit, Squid Game. Before that, he won the Daesang for Film Actor of the Year at the 2020 Asia Artist Awards. Lee Seung Gi debuted as a singer, and later went on to star in movies and television dramas. He was trending earlier this year after displaying his versatility in Mouse. Yoo Ah In has won numerous awards thus year for his performance in the movie, Voice of Silence.

Meanwhile, aespa is a new band that made their debut in late 2020 with the song, “Black Mamba.” They returned in 2021 with the chart-topping single, “Next Level.” The girl group also released their first EP, “Savage” recently. The song debuted in the top 20 of the Billboard 200.

Han So Hee had won the Best New Artist award at the 2020 awards show for her role in The World of the Married. In 2021, she starred in the JTBC romance drama Nevertheless and is currently on Netflix’s My Name, which is ranked in the Netflix top three around the world.

Cha Eun Woo, Moon Ga Young, Minhyun, And Na In Wo will also attend this year’s awards. Cha Eun Woo and Moon Ga Young were able to steal the audience’s hearts in the drama, True Beauty. Minhyun was able to make a big debut in this year’s JTBC drama Live On, and Na In Woo got his big break with tvN’s Mr. Queen and KBS 2TV’s River Where the Moon Rises.
