Netflix themselves shared the new image as part of the announcement, accompanied by a plot synopsis. In the photo, we can see the three main protagonists taking a break in between the shoots. We have Henry Cavill in full Geralt look, accompanied by Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Freya Allan as Ciri. A dense and snowy forest lies ahead of them. A few crew members, large screens, a horse, and a rundown shack is also seen.

As for the official synopsis, the events pick up right after season 2. Ciri is public enemy number one and is being chased by monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent. Geralt takes Ciri into hiding, and is ready to protect her from anything that threatens her peace. Yennefer is also with them, after being entrusted to train Ciri in magic. She takes them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, and hopes to awaken more of Ciri’s dormant powers. But what lies ahead is political corruption, dark magic, and treachery.
