About Unstable

Rob Lowe
Fox

Unstable follows a cutting-edge biotech company head and his son. The son is introverted and socially challenged in all possible ways, while his father is successful and eccentric. In order to save himself from disaster, the son goes to work for his father, and the events that follow form the rest of the story. In fact, the series is inspired by Rob and John’s online relationship. Lowe is trolled by his son frequently, and caught on camera.

Unstable will follow on the footsteps of the award-winning Schitt’s Creek. The series was created by father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy. They also starred on screen as father and son. The show’s immense success could be why Netflix decided to bankroll this ambitious project.

Television Career of Rob Lowe

Rob Lowe
Netflix

Lowe is currently starring and executive producing Fox’s successful show 911: Lone Star. He was also seen on shows like The Grinder, Brothers & Sisters, and The West Wing. Perhaps his most notable role in recent times will be that of Chris Traeger on NBC’s Parks and Recreation. His character is funny and eccentric there as well, and we might see a bit of that in his upcoming role.

Meanwhile, Fresco has made sitcoms like Andy Richter Controls the Universe, My Name is Earl, Better Off Ted, and Mad About You.
