The California-based festival will take place over the span of two weekends as always. Attendees are expected to be more than 125,000 per day. Also, bans on social distancing have been lifted, and visitors are not required to wear masks, or will no longer have to test or show vaccinations proof. However, they did warn that there will always be a chance of being exposed to COVID-19.

Let’s move over to the performers. Styles will take the stage on Night 1, which is on April 15. He will be followed by performers like Lil Baby, Daniel Cesar, Phoebe Bridgers, Big Sean, and many others. On Night 2, Eilish will headline, after previously appearing in 2019. The 20-year-old singer, who is now even bigger than before, says it’s crazy to be headlining the event. She also said that her 2019 experience was underwhelming, and that she resents everything that surrounded her.

Kanye West had been originally set to be the headliner on Night 3, but pulled out along with Travis Scott. He has been replaced with Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd. Kanye would’ve been paid $8.5 million for the two weekends, and now The Weeknd says he won’t perform unless he is paid the same amount.
