Another Member of The Boyz infected
THE BOYZ is a South- Korean boys band. IST Entertainment manages the band. It is a team of 11 members. Those are Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Ju Haknyeon, Sunwoo and Eric.
Previously, Eric became corona positive after the whole team went for the test. Later the whole team went for testing and found that another member, Younghoon is also COVID-19 positive. The other members went to test themselves again after this.
The Band’s Action Against The COVID-19
The team shared that they took a PCR test on 24th of January. All the members of this band tested negative except Eric. As a measure of safety, Younghoon took another test and on Wednesday it was confirmed that he was also Corona positive.
As a result, the whole team had to test themselves again and we’re awaiting their results. Their managing company is taking all the possible efforts for speedy recovery. They are adhering to the protocols given by the officials and necessary in co-operation with the quarantine authority.
Virus Affecting The Korean Artists
In December, some of the Grammy nominated artists of The BTS band tested positive for COVID-19 . Further it came into news that the virus has affected Suga and Jin. Later in January, all of them were found negative.
Meanwhile, the solo artist Hyolyn’s agency shared that she has also tested positive on 26th January. Subsequently she has cancelled all her schedule and she is currently taking necessary measures according to the quarantine authorities.
