WeCrashed Star Kyle Marvin Discusses Bob Marley Scene and Jared Leto

Marvin stars as WeWork co-founder Miguel McKelvey in the Apple series

Kyle Marvin is a writer and producer, and has now forayed into acting. He stars in Apple TV+‘s drama series, WeCrashed, opposite Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway. The story is about a real-life company multi-billion dollar company that went into shambles known as WeWork. Leto and Hathaway stars as the owners and power couple Adam and Rebekah Neumann. The Sane Character in WeCrashed

Within no time, we get to see how Adam sees himself as a god and thinks he can be the world’s first trillionaire. Meanwhile, Rebekah feeds his ego and constantly reminds him that nothing is off limits. But then we see Miguel, a man firmly on the ground. Miguel makes rational decisions and tries to stick with Adam even when the latter has something crazy in mind.

In the final episode, we see Adam stepping down, but Miguel staying back. Miguel originally stays back an extra year in the company. In a chat with Marvin, we get to see hear some new details about the series. Such as the Bob Marley scene.

In the show’s finale, there is a moment where the employees demand him to tell what’s going on. But Miguel responds by singing Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds.” Marvin says it is something that came up while filming, and was not part of the original. Being a non-pragmatic person, this was his way of calming his subordinates.

Meeting Leto

Jared Leto is notorious for his method acting. Marvin says when he met Leto, he was already in character. They got to meet as their characters, and somehow show more authenticity. It especially helped create the final scene in WeCrashed before the two characters. He only got to see Leto out of character after two months.
