We are closer to one of the most anticipated Netflix movies of the year
Netflix’s The Gray Man has graced the cover of May’s issue of Empire Magazine. Lead stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans are featured, in what is just a glimpse of the showdown in store. The highly-anticipated movie will be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, directors of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. It will be based on the hit novel of the same name by Mark Greaney.
About The Gray Man
The Gray Man follows a valuable CIA agent Court Gentry (Gosling), who has knowledge of deep agency secrets. Gentry gets a target on his back due to this, and international assassins are on his trail. This includes former colleague Lloyd Hansen (Evans), who has psychopathic tendencies and is hell-bent on destroying him. We have only received a brief look at their rivalry during a promo clip for Netflix’s upcoming movies, but it was enough to get fans excited. The movie additionally stars Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Regé-Jean Page, Julia Butters, Billy Bob Thornton, and many others. Netflix has spent a massive $200 million on the movie’s budget.

We got to see Gosling and Evans’ distinct looks in the new movie. Evans, in particular, is rather intimidating with a unique haircut and a moustache. The actor was last seen as the bad guy in Knives Out, but this will be a whole other game. The actor had worked with the Russo brothers since 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, followed by Captain America: Civil War and the two finale Avengers movies.
The Gray Man is expected to release on Netflix on July 15, with trailers to drop soon enough. Are you excited?
