About the show

The trailer shows Jack Reacher as a drifter, having left the military life behind him, and is now a regular civilian. He roams with no phone and only bare essentials, and explores the nation he had once served. But when he reaches the tiny town of Margrave, Georgia, he finds out that the town had witnessed its first homicide in 20 years. But things take a bad turn when eyewitnesses claim to have seen him at the scene of the crime, and he gets arrested. After pleading his innocence, he is offered a deal to work with the investigation to find out the real culprits, and slowly, they uncover a massive conspiracy.

The character was first brought to the big screen in 2012’s Jack Reacher, and 2016’s Jack Reacher: Never Go Back and had Tom Cruise playing the iconic character. But as good as Tom was in his role, fans of the novels never liked him as Jack is a seriously big dude – 6’5, weighing 240 pounds, and built like a professional athlete. It was Alan Ritchson (Hawk in Titans) who finally got the part.

Ritchson also told that they will be adapting each book into a season, so more seasons can be expected if this show is done right.
