There will be no fifth season of Ozark, albeit season four has been split into two parts
The Netflix series Ozark series 4 is the final instalment. That means the popular crime drama will not have a fifth instalment. Series 4 was broken into two parts, with the first seven episodes debuting on January 21 and the second seven due later this year.
Series 4 Part 1 and Series 4 Part 2 could be termed Series 4 and Series 5 depending on how you look at it. Everything you need to know about Ozark Series 5 is right here (which is not happening, unless you start getting into the semantics of it all).
Will Ozark have a fifth season?
No, not exactly. Ozark Season 4 is the last season, but it is split into two halves. Seasons 1 through 3 each contained ten episodes, whereas Season 4 contains fourteen. It was released in two parts, with the first seven episodes available soon and the second seven episodes available later.
“We’re going to do 14 episodes instead of 10, and we’re going to split them up in two, so it’ll be seven and seven,” star Jason Bateman stated on Jimmy Fallon’s show. So it’ll be similar to seasons four and five, except they’ll be shorter.”
So, while there isn’t an official Season 5 of Ozark, you may think of it that way.
When will season 4 be available?
Ozark season 4 is available on Netflix. It opened to rave reviews from the viewers and critics alike.
Cast:
Martin “Marty” Byrde, a financial advisor who launders money for a drug cartel, is played by Jason Bateman. Bateman has appeared in a variety of films, including Horrible Bosses, Juno, and Game Night, as well as Arrested Development.
As the series progresses, Laura Linney portrays Wendy Byrde, Martin’s wife and a political campaigner who becomes entangled in his money laundering scheme. Linney is a well-known actress who has appeared in films such as The Truman Show, The Squid and the Whale, The Big C, and Frasier.
Felix Solis (The Good Wife), Julia Garner (Maniac), Charlie Tahan (Gotham), and Jessica Frances Dukes (Gotham) are also returning for Ozark Season 4. (Jessica Jones).
