Netflix’s Murderous “The Pale Blue Eye” Teaser Starring Christian Bale Is Out

A Cold Murder Mystery linked with The Pale Blue Eye

Netflix has released the first official teaser of their forthcoming historical thriller The Pale Blue Eye, which is based on the Louis Bayard book of the same name.

The 1830s movie stars Christian Bale as Augustus Landor, an ex-cop detective called on to solve a cadet’s murders at West Point. The Pale Blue Eye as well as follows a young army cadet, later known to fame as Edgar Allen Poe.

We finally got our first glimpse of Scott Cooper’s gothic murder mystery The Pale Blue Eye. The Pale Blue Eye is an American mystery-horror film that takes place at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, in 1830. Scott Cooper’s gothic murder mystery The Pale Blue Eye, from The Antlers, looks sinister. 

Harry Potter actor Harry Mellings’ portrayal of Poe has been teased as well, with little fanfare. The Pale Blue Eye serves as Bale and writer-director Scott Cooper’s third collaboration, following the duos, work on Hostiles from the Furnace. Additional casting includes Gillian Anderson, Lucy Boynton, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Toby Jones, Toby Jones, Harry Lawtey, Simon McBurney, Hadley Robinson, Timothy Spall, and Robert Duvall.

In this short glimpse at the movie, originating with writer-director Scott Cooper, Augustus is seen fighting against harsh winter elements and frosty town personalities while racing to locate the murderer.

While Netflix has made a few splashy deals in Europes virtual movie market, including the record-breaking pact for Christian Bale-starrer, we can see the movie “In select theaters in December and on Netflix on Jan. 6” as referred by Official Netflix’s latest Tudum report.
