Plot:

The series ‘Colin in Black & White’ will show the experiences of Kaepernick during his high school. It gives an insight into Kaepernick’s life experiences that made him an activist. The series focuses on his early life and his journey to becoming a quarterback. The series shows how Colin tackles the obstacles of race and class as an adopted Black child of a white family.

While Kaepernick will make an appearance narrating the series, Jaden Michael plays the role of young Kaepernick. “I look forward to the world meeting the incredible Jaden Michael, a young actor who plays me during my high school years, just a kid growing up in Turlock, California who wanted to play ball.” Kaepernick said about the talented young actor.

Nick Offerman and Mary-Louise Parker will play the roles of Kaepernick’s adoptive parents, Rick and Teresa. Colin’s friends Crystal, Eddie, and Jake are played by Klarke Pipkin, Amarr Wooten, and Mace Coronel respectively.
