Marvel series Moon Knight releases the new trailer

NBC Superbowl’s broadcast had a special surprise for the fans apart from the great performances. Marvel Studios released the trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series Moon Knight. This surprise came during Superbowl’s commercial break on Sunday.

We got to see the first trailer in January during another NFL playoff game where we got to experience the first glimpse of Ethan Hawke and Oscar Isaac in the fictional action series.

What do we see in the latest trailer?

In the MCU trailer, we mostly get to see tormented Oscar feeling quite overwhelmed. His character is facing difficulties differentiating between his dreams and reality, seeing hallucinations to the point where he is terrified even when someone calls out his name.

We also see Ethan Hawke guiding him and motivating him to embrace the chaos inside him even if the voices in his head can make it difficult. Oscar then transforms into Moon Knight after he receives his powers from the Egyptian moon God Khonshu. The trailer further portrays Moon Knight in his full costume and a weapon shaped like a crescent.

When is Moon Knight premiering?

During an interview with Empire magazine, Kevin Feige (Marvel Studios president) assured that the series will take the viewers on an unexpected journey. He added that working with Disney+ was fun and they really tried to push their boundaries on what they could do.

In another interview, Isaac said the series will not follow the route of a conventional superhero film. Doug Moench, who wrote Young Justice and Harley Quinn created this series. Jeremy Slater is the co-writer, who previously worked in Netflix’s Death Note and The Umbrella Academy.

Comprising of 6 episodes, Moon Knight will premiere on Disney+ from 30th March, 2022.
