Lee Pace talked about his paranormal experience in Mt. Doom that made him believes in Elves

The Hobit actor recalled his paranormal incidents during the shoot

The Hobbit actor Lee Pace, who played Elven ruler Thranduil, recalls his Mount Doom experience in New Zealand that made him believe in Elves. The Hobbit serves as a prequel trilogy to The Lord of the Rings. The Hobbit movies tell the story of Martin Freeman’s Bilbo Baggins and his adventures with a group of Dwarves.

In 2012 with the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Bilbo, and his companions encountered a lot of wild creatures and also a few encounters with Elves.

Thranduil was a somewhat prickly addition to the franchise, which served as the Elvenking in Mirkwood and makes no secret of his disdain for Dwarves.

Lee Pace told the media about his own experience with the elves

In an interview Lee Pace who played the role of Thranduil shares one of his experiences while shooting for The Hobbit in New Zealand that caused him to believe in Elves for real.

The actor, Lee Pace recalled taking long hiking trips where Jackson filmed the scenes of Mount Doom in The Lord of the Rings, where he misplaced his phone and found an interesting revelation.

Lee Pace told in an interview that while he was hiking in Lake Waikaremoana and Tongariro Northern Circuit where they shoot Mt. Doom it was a five days hike and he suddenly was unable to find his phone on the second day.

He believed that he lost his phone and there is no chance to get it back. Soon three days passed by with him shooting and hiking while he was certain that he lost his phone.

His believes in ‘not so evil’ elves

On the last day when he woke up at night, he suddenly found his phone sticking to his back, which according to the Pace was the deed of the Elves only.

Pace said that the Elves wanted him to look more out of the screen than in the screen and he said that they are not the evil one because they returned him his phone.
