“Last Comic Standing” and “Shameless” Alum Ricarlo Flanagan Passes Away due to COVID-19

Ricarlo Flanagan has passed away

Sad news has just hit. Shameless and Last Comic Standing actor Ricarlo Flanagan has passed away. The actor has died of COVID-19. Last Comic Standing alum was 41 years old and died after contracting COVID-19. The news was delivered by his agent Stu Golfman. 

Golfman said that the actor passed away this weekend. He did not reveal any further details about the demise but says that he is heartbroken by his demise. He further added by saying that Sadly, this pandemic has resulted in the death of an extremely talented performer and even nicer human being. Ricarlo will be missed greatly. He goes on today that Ricarlo was a wonderful performer and truly one of the nicest people on the planet.

An Amazing Talent

Friends of Ricarlo Flanagan have set up a GoFundMe Campaign to raise money for the actor. So that he can get home in Cleveland, Ohio. The actor’s family describes him as a loving grandson, son, cousin, nephew, and friend.

Ricarlo Flanagan first set his foot in the world of comedy in 2007. He then started pursuing his career in stand-up comedy. In 2015, he became the finalist on Last Comic Standing. He then went to star in The Mick, Insecure, The Neighbourhood, Kidding, and The Carmichael Show. Before his death, he landed his first movie role along with Aubrey Plaza, Emily the Criminal. 

In addition to this, he was a rapper who performed with his stage name Father Flanagan. His debut album, Death of Davinchi was released in 2010. Followed by An Opus Inspired By Andre Martin in 2019, Hope Your Proud in 2020. On 27th September, he shared his fourth album Both Sides of The Brain which will be released in the following month.
