Clooney and Grant Heslov will direct “Boys in the Boat”
Callum Turner was recently nominated for the BAFTA award n 2020 for his work in BBC’s “The Capture”. He has worked to get his lead that has made his name rise. Callum Turner has already made his name with a breakout role in Green Room. The thriller movie “Green Room” was directed by Jeremy Saulnier. Since then Callum has opened many doors for himself. He has recently got tapped to star in Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg’s “Masters of The Air” directed by Cary Fukunaga. The movie is the continuation of the “Band of Brothers” and “The Pacific”.
Well recently, Callum Turner was offered to get cast in Oscar winner George Clooney and Grant Heslov’s “Boys In The Boat”. Clooney is also all set to collect huge awards for his latest project “The Tender Bar“. It stars Tye Sheridan and Ben Affleck. “The tender Bar” will release on December 17 however, it has already released at London Film Festival last month.
Callum Turner to get cast in a movie adaptation of “The Boys in The Boat”
Since 2018, Callum has done any major role including the one “Fantastic Beast”. The BAFTA-nominated actor is also known for his role in “The Capture”. As “The Boys in the Boat” will be directed by both Clooney and Grant, the expectations are highly huge. Moreover, Clooney was also close to directing the movie adaptation. However, when he got the chance to direct “Tender Bar”, he changed his plans and started focusing on it.

“The Boy in the Boat” is a novel written by Daniel James Brown. It follows up a non-fictional plot where nine Americans participate in a quest to win a gold medal in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.
