Doyoung of NCT Confirmed as the Male Lead in the Upcoming Drama!

Doyoung in a New K- Drama

It is finally confirmed, Doyoung, the member of the Kpop group NCT, will star in a new romance drama, “To X Who Doesn’t Love Me” as the male lead. The K- drama will revolve around Jung Shi Ho and his friend Seo Hee Soo. Hee Soo, tries to use a magical book that has the ability to make people fall in love for a month. Shi Ho, stressed because of his grades already knows about the book. Shi Ho worries about Hee Soo finding the book.

Doyoung’s Thoughts

Doyoung’s management company SM, confirmed on February 21 about his appearance in the upcoming romantic drama. The South Korean singer shared his thoughts saying that he is really grateful and that he will do well for his fans.

Han Ji Hyo previously appeared in T.V. dramas such as “Pop Out Boy!”,  “Work Later, Drink Now”. She will now play a character struggling to achieve her dreams while her self esteem continues to decline. Doyoung will play a similar character.

Kin Do Young made a debut back in 2016 as a member of the kpop group NCT. Since then he released multiple songs and acted in various k dramas. Midnight Cafe Season 3 – The Curious Stalker was the first drama in which Do Young appeared as the lead in March of last year. In that K drama he played an 18 year old high school student who can see the future. This was followed by his first musical, Marie Antoinette.

All the NCTzens are certainly in for a treat. They will all be able to see their favorite singer in a k drama this year with another great story. In addition to being an actor and a singer, he also hosted a few shows.
