The acclaimed American singer-songwriter, Dolly Parton, politely declined her Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nomination. Her well established career is already a dream of many. Starting her incredible journey from 1967’s ‘Hello, I’m Dolly’, she has earned a lot of name and fame. Her more than 50 years of notable career brought her immense popularity all over the world. In her fabulous vocation so far, she had bagged many awards including nine CMA Awards, 10 Grammys, 1 Emmy Award. However, she quietly withdrew her name from the nominees list published in February. She publicize her decision on March 14 through an Instagram post explaining about the the reasons behind this step.

Dolly’s reasons to drop out from nominees list

‘9 to 5’ and ‘The Porter Wagner Show’ credited Dolly Patron on March 14 released a statement for her withdrawal in her celebrity account. She quoted that she found herself unworthy and she justified the statement saying she had not earned it. Though she started with a happy and grateful note, but later concluded saying she would run for the award when she considered herself that worthy.
