Dawn of the Witch To Drop on April 7

This is the year for animes. There is no doubt that anime gathered a large number of viewership in the past few years. And has no intention of stopping. Recently a new came out that “Dawn of the Witch”, a light series novel by Kobashiri Kakeri will get an anime. On Friday, the key visual dropped. In addition to that the cast members were also released for the upcoming show.

The anime will air on T.V. on April 7. The “Dawn of the Witch” is a fantasy light novel series. The first volume of the series released back in August 2018. Yoshinori Shizuma and Takashi Isawaki are responsible for the illustrations. This novel then went on to inspire a manga adaptation in 2019.

The Plot

Back in April of last year Tezuka Productions announced an anime adaptation. Tezuka Productions will produce the anime and Satoshi Kuwabara will direct it apart from contributing to the script. Reina Isawaki will be responsible for illustrations. Also the original creators of the story will receive their due credit.

The story revolves around Saybil a student of magic in Royal Academy of Magic of the Kingdom of Wenias. He has no memories of his past life prior to meeting a mysterious woman in an alley. The student now travels with a his teacher and a few other students for training in a village faraway. But the trip takes a different turn

The Voice Cast

The voice actors have also been released. Shūichirō Umeda will voice Saybil. Sayumi Suzushiro will voice Holt, Taku Yashiro will voice Kudo, Miho Okasaki will voice Roux Cristasse. And Hanamori will be the voice for the mysterious witch.

The anime will air on TBS and BS11 in Japan. As for all international fans, Crunchyroll is there for you.
