CBS return with late-‘90s fantasy series ‘Early Edition’

CBS is all set to produce Late-‘90s fantasy newspaper show ‘Early Edition’. In the reprise version, the story centers around an ambitious yet uncompromising journalist and her confusing entanglements that goes beyond newspapers. However, the original series focused on a man who change the future for better.

Though the original and new one seem to have different characters and lines, but they both still match the vibes of their life revolving on tomorrow’s edition as well as changing future tragedies.

New ‘Early Edition’ still circling around sheets of newspapers

The upcoming new edition similarly has a inflexible journalist falls on the labyrinth of time. As like the old plotline, she too receives tomorrow’s edition of newspapers each morning. In addition to this, she get chances to change future through her previous knowledge. Then, her life get entangled with present and future. She crosses every boundaries to save people from their dead-end. To the astonishment, she ends up in the loop of blocking future tragedies rather than reporting those news.

Old Edition of ‘Early Edition’

The original version of ‘Early Edition’ traces back to the life of a man named Gary Hobson who gains special chances to change the future. The background set on Chicago and whole show ran on minutes. In addition to this, a mysterious ginger tabby cat delivers tomorrow’s edition of the Chicago Sun-Times today each morning which help him see the future beforehand.

Crew of upcoming ‘Early Edition’

The new version of the fantasy series ‘Early Edition’ will be created under the banner of CBS Studios apace with Sony Pictures Television and AFFIRM Television. Hawaii Five-0, Beauty and the Beast acclaimed writer Melissa Glenn with original trilogy creators DeVon Franklin and Bob Brush penned down this new series on the traces of old one. Besides, Jenna Nicholson will serve as co-executive producer under Franklin Entertainment company.
