In Showtime’s premiere “Billions”, an unexpected plot is about to be shown. In the season 6 premiere on Sunday, we can see one of the main characters of the show suffering from a heart attack just after a Peloton workout. “Wags” Wagner, just after his Peloton workout, suffers from a minor heart attack. The scene is similar to HBO’s Sex and the City

Well, the heart attack scene is not completely new for many as it looks like a replica of one from “Sex and the City” reboot. In the HBO show, a similar scene is unveiled. It depicted Carrie’s husband, Chris North dies of a heart attack just after his 1000th Pelton ride. Is this a mere coincidence or the financial show has taken some inspiration from the superhit movie’s reboot?

Creators cite the similarity as a coincidence

The creators of the show have reported to USA Today that the Peloton plot is a mere coincidence. It was made without any knowledge of the already existing storyline on HBO. Brian Koppelman further stated that the scene was written almost a year ago, and it was shot in April. Since not much could be changed about the scene after it was released, Koppelman said that all they did was change one line!

What was intended by this scene?

The “Billions” came out this year to depict the victorious Wags returning to be appreciated by his office workers, and declared that he wasn’t going out like Mr. Big. Peleton has not left the matters unattended. He created a hilarious video showcasing Noth alive sitting alongside his favourite Peloton instructor.

A “Billions” season without Bobby Axelrod

This is the first season of the show without Bobby Axelrod, “Axe.” He was last seen in the Season five finale and left for Switzerland to escape his arrest by his rival, General Chuck Rhoades. It is reported that the actor departed from the show after facing some personal issues post the death of Lewis’s wife, actress Helen McCrory. The show has not been the same without Axe.
