Ariana Grande and Cynthia Ervio are the official Wizards!
Broadway shows were halted for a long time due to COVID-19. However, after a long time, the musical event is resumed. With its resume after months, the live performances have begun of Wicked. It will be the movie adaptation of “The Wizard of Oz”. Wicked will be the prequel to the original musical show. It will explain the arrival of Dorothy in Oz. “The Wizard of Oz” includes Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth.
They will portray the role of frenemies Elphaba who becomes the Wicked Witch (of the West), and Glinda (the Good Witch) respectively.

Ariana Grande – the new Wizard in town
Both the artists are already known for their individual line of work. They are already successful and have achieved a lot. Ariana Grande’s fans are so excited for the big screen adaptation. The Grammy winner has already participated in musical shows like 13. She has also acted in shows like Victorious and has also bagged a role in Adam McKay’s upcoming film “Don’t Look Up”.
Along with Ariana Grande, Cynthia will also play a major role in the upcoming movie.
Wicked is a dream project
Call it the dream project of the creators, but they are excited about this. They were planning for a long time to look forward to the movie adaptation of Wicked. However, the project seemed to be drowned when Stephen Daldry let in the middle in October.
Stephen was supposed to direct the movie. He was trapped in hectic schedules and thus left. Stephen Schwartz will be doing the screenplay along with Winnie Holzman. He was also managing the music and lyrics of the Broadway show. The Broadway musical was produced by Marc Platt therefore he will be producing the movie adaptation too.
