Aaron Pierre to Appear in the Blade Reboot

English actor Aaron Pierre is all set to star in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s “Blade”. Pierre will work opposite rapper Mahershala Ali in this project. After Delroy Lindo, and Ali  Pierre marks the third character to cast in the movie. Back in November Lindo was confirmed to be part of the “Blade” cast. Ali was announced to be part of the cast back when the project was officially announced in 2019 at comic-con.

Marvel has not yet revealed what character the 27 year old actor will play. However, sources state that the Marvel Studios went through a tough process to for Pierre’s role.

Directors and Production

Mogul Mowgli’s director, Bassam Tariq will direct this upcoming Marvel reboot whereas Stacy Osei-Kuffor will serve as the writer for the film. Marvel president Kevin Feige and the Marvel Studios will produce it. Tariq plans on bringing this character back since Wesley Snipes played the role in the Blade trilogy.

Aaron Pierre is most famous for his role in the “The Underground Railroad”, which released on Amazon Prime Video that summer. Later that year, he appeared in Night Shyamalan’s “Old” as Mid-Sized Sedan / Brendan. In August 2021, Pierre reunited with The Underground Railroad”d director Barry Jenkins for his role in Lion King as Mufasa.

Eternals’ Post Credits

Marvel Studios revealed little about this cinematic rejuvenation. They did not reveal the release date. However, fans got a glimpse of this movie last year. The Eternals‘ post credits featured a voice over by Mahershala Ali. All the Marvel fans are extremely eager to see how Eric Cross Brooks’ character would change after the 2004 “Blade: Trinity”. In addition to Blade Pierre has more in store for us. He is currently working on Garth Davis’s Foe working opposite Paul Mescal and Saoirse Ronan.
