The Real “Inspiration4 Mission To Space”

Netflix comes up with an extraordinary contents because of its big and creative shows, that it just keeps on amusing the viewers. A “new real-time” documentary series “Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission To Space” where 4 civilians take a tour of 3 days to space which makes it a must watch series.

An inspiration came from a 38 year old billionaire called Jared Isaacman, founder and CEO of Shift4 Payments. Isaacman is the commander in-charge for the whole journey, crew and their voyage to explore space.

The focus is to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It is considered to “raise funds” for patients suffering from cancer. And it also aims to raise $200 million for this cause.

The Selection of the astronauts

Isaacman will be accompanied by:

Hayley Arceneaux, a physician and paediatric cancer survivor. Christopher Sembroski, a veteran of the U.S Air Force who served in Iraq and works as an engineer at Lockheed Martin. He also planned to “perform a song from space” says Sembroski.

Sian Proctor, a professor of Geosciences and Nasa’s astronaut candidate. Sian Proctor expresses that, ” This was the most comfortable and ‘Yes’ that I ever said.”

The launch is set to take up with SpaceX capsule’s Dragon mission. The mission will be taken to the highest altitude than that of International Space Station (ISS).

Jared Isaacman tweeted, “Never imagined a Netflix documentary when we kicked off Inspiration4 just 8 months ago. Amazing how fast things come together. Proceeds from this directly benefit St. Jude and our $200 million fundraising objective”

The Preparation- Storyline, Crew Behind Etc….

This series will commence with a 3-days trip to space with only civilians in it. And also considered to be the “first all-civilian” mission to space.

The show begins with selecting the crew and training them “physically” and “mentally” to be prepared. The story also involves the challenges faced by the crew.

The start of this ambitious journey will be shown on the first two episodes of “Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission To Space” which is set to be released on September 6.

Episodes 3 and 4 will be streamed on September 13. However, the final episode will give an access into the spacecraft, launch and the crew. Jason Hehir, the director of “The Last Dance” will be directing and produced by Jonathan D. Woods and Jake Rogal. Because of its “highly experienced” crew the show will turn out to be a best “space story.”

Netflix also decided to release “A  StoryBots Space Adventure hybrid live-action animation specially for kids and families.”

The kids also have questions like, ” How will the rocket launch and what are the preparations and training .” Netflix also promised that, ” it will premiere in five parts leading up to and following the mission”
