However, he had been prohibited from going to the Cleveland house because he was taking pictures outside of it, which bothered the owner, who asked the actor to leave his property. The business partner of Anayo, Emmanuel Soba, revealed that Jones’ reaction absolutely took him by surprise because the day before the incident, they had a productive phone chat with Jones about possibly purchasing the house.

Video taken on November 15 and obtained by TMZ shows Anayo posing for pictures with what appeared to be movie fans. The owner, who was reportedly named Brian Jones, yelled at the actor, telling him to leave immediately. Brian claimed that he was serious and wasn’t joking, which confused Anayo. He even tried to clear things up, but Brian was adamant and furious, telling the actor not to come back to his house and even calling Anayo a con artist in the video.

Jones issued an apology for the manner in which he expressed himself and clarified that he was worried that fans would be tricked into contributing to a GoFundMe campaign that would not lead to the procurement of the house since he would not be selling the house through the fundraising website.

He warned people not to contribute to the fund under false premises, thinking their funds would go toward buying the house, as he would only accept offers from qualified buyers through his real estate broker.

To generate funds to purchase the house, a member from Anaya’s group launched a GoFundMe page, but it is no longer in existence.
