Rihanna To Return With Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

One week after speculation began circulating about whether Rihanna was going back into music, the news has been officially confirmed. 

Last month, it was announced RiRi would be headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show, but according to the music news source Hit Daily Double, she will release new music well ahead of February of 2023. Given Rihanna’s varied business ventures, many wondered whether she would ever get back into music.

Rihanna wrote the Lift Me Up ballad with scribe/director Ryan Coogler, Tims, and Oscar winner Ludwig Goransson in homage to late Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman, who died in August 2020. Rihanna’s involvement is confirmed, and this seems to substantiate speculation the movie will feature a star-studded score that will rival its predecessors.

Teaser, Release Date & Other Details

As the songs about the singer’s anticipated musical return were written in homage to late “Panther” star Chadwick Boseman, who died in August 2020 at age 43. The song, entitled Lift Me Up will be released officially on the following date.

According to Yahoo!, Terms said in a statement that she wanted to write something which portrays a warm embrace from the people she lost in her life, imagining herself singing to them expressing how much she misses them. She furthermore added also saying, Rihanna has been her inspiration, and knowing she will convey in this song is a great honor for Terms.

Recently on all the social media platforms, Marvel Studios has officially shared a little launch teaser related to the new release of Rihanna’s song “Lift Me Up”.

Though being a successful businesswoman and a billionaire through her brand Savage x Fenty based on the lingerie line, the singer’s last song was dropped back in 2016 called “Anti”.

And after this long league of time, it is sure to be expected that the singer will be back with her true talents, no wonder Marvel Studios took the initiative to merge with her on this occasion.
