The couple met during the Broadway play ‘Betrayal’
Hollywood actors and stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton might have just got engaged. The couple was among those that attended the 2022 BAFTAs, and also appeared on the stories of host AJ Odudu. In the photo, a huge diamond ring can be spotted on Ashton’s finger, hinting that the two got engaged.
Relationship timeline
Hiddleston and Ashton met for the production of the Broadway drama Betrayal. They starred alongside fellow Marvel star Charlie Cox. Ashton is also an official Marvel star after debuting in a mysterious role for 2023’s The Marvels. Sources suggest that she will be playing the villain Karla Sofen/ Moonstone. Meanwhile, Hiddleston has been the MCU’s Loki since 2011, and will be seen next in season two of the series on Disney+. Funnily enough, Hiddleston, Ashton, and Cox dressed up as Daredevil, Captain Marvel, and Loki respectively after the play wrapped up.
They made their relationship official by arriving together at the Tony Awards in September last year. But it was speculated the couple moved in together in Atlanta back in 2020. They were then seen on vacation in summer 2021, and numerous other photos have come up.

Tom Hiddleston was one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors in the 2010s. The actor was on the news a lot when he dated Taylor Swift in 2016. However, the pair split after three months. He then got linked to Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra when the duo presented an award at the 2016 Emmys.
An insider spoke to The Sun recently about Tom and Zawe’s relationship, and said they enjoy the quiet life, away from the Hollywood stuff. The couple has not confirmed the engagement yet.
