Evangeline Lilly Faces Backlash From Marvel Fans for Vax Mandate Protest

The actress admits to protesting against the mandate at Washington, D.C.

Marvel‘s Ant-Man and the Wasp star Evangeline Lilly comes under fire yet again for her views on vaccination.

Lilly, 42, announced in a new Instagram post that she had gone to Washinton, D.C. over the weekend to speak out in support of “medical sovereignty.” That’s another word for vaccine mandate protests. Lilly has struck true to her beliefs even as many fans continue to question her actions.

Lilly shared the post on Thursday, and said she went to support bodily sovereignty while Canadian truckers were rallying. They had the same interests as well. The actress went on to add that she believes nobody should ever be forced to inject anything into their body against their will and gave a list of situations.

She stated that it was not safe, healthy, or love. She understands that the world is in fear, but doesn’t believe that answering that with force will fix our problems.

Robert F. Kennedy, a notorious anti-vaxxer had attended the same protest as well. He had created headlines by comparing vaccine mandates to the Holocaust. Vaccine mandates remain divisive in the United States like the rest of the world, and authorities have not punished anyone who declined it. Anti-vaxxers have pushed the “my body, my choice” since vaccines came out.

Lilly had given dangerous views on COVID since the start. She had revealed in march 2020, the time when it broke out on a mass scale, that she refuses to self quarantine despite living with her cancer-stricken father. She compared it to a “respiratory flu” and blamed the government for the attention they gave it. Lilly was heavily criticized for her actions, and posted an apology on Instagram days later.
