News of The Boys season 4 starting production came from showrunner Eric Kripke, who posted a selfie in front of a board announcing the next flight to Toronto. Soon, selfies of cast members Anthony Starr (Homelander), Chace Crawford (The Deep), Jack Quaid (Hughie), and Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko) started coming in. The show’s official Twitter account compiled these images and wrote, “Just some people flying, nothin else to see here.”

The Boys season four will also see the return of Tomer Capone (Frenchie), Laz Alonso (MM), Erin Moriarty (Starlight), Jessie Usher (A-Train), and Colby Minifie (Ashley). Fans are hopeful to see if Jensen Ackles will return as Soldier Boy, as his character was a major improvement from the comics and stood his ground with already charismatic characters like Butcher and Homelander.

Aside from the main show, The Boys will also have a new spin-off titled Gen V, which will tell the story of teenagers going to a superhero college run by Vought.
